Context

This was my independent research project for the UCL Undergraduate Preparatory Certificate. The essay examined whether nuclear energy should be used in advancing space exploration, focusing on radioisotope power systems, fission power systems, deep-space mission requirements, safety, and ethical considerations.

What it demonstrates

The project is useful evidence of early academic writing: topic narrowing, source-based argument, comparison of technical systems, and balancing engineering advantages against safety and ethical concerns.

Status

The final academic paper was selected by faculty as a model project for future cohorts. I am keeping the public website entry concise rather than publishing the full assessed document directly.
