Coursework
Coursework, Notes, and Public Writing Boundaries
Jun 2026
A short policy note for separating public learning notes from copyrighted material, graded coursework, and formal publications.
- academic integrity
- coursework
- writing
Purpose
The site should distinguish peer-reviewed publications, preprints, research reports, course reports, expository articles, and technical notes.
Public notes
Public notes should be written in Rui’s own words and should focus on explanation, reflection, and reusable understanding.
What not to publish
Do not upload copyrighted lecture notes, restricted course materials, or complete assessed solutions for modules that may still be running.
Labelling standard
Every item should clearly state its context: course project, independent reproduction, research collaboration, draft note, or formal publication.
